Any production starts with an engaging story in a great script. In fact, the script is the whole reason anyone gets excited in the first place. Without a script there is no show, no audience, no actors, no directors, no crew, no dinner, no drinks …
But of course, the script is just the start. Scripts don't get staged by themselves ... it takes a village!
Playwrights choose a ten-minute scene from their script to escenify for the audience of delegates, media, and general public. Scripts are grouped together in accordance with venues, time slots, and other scripts.

Indeed! As well as the national and provincial funding opportunities listed under the GRANTS tab, most municipalities and counties also support their local artists. Check in with your town or city council for more information.
If you're a member of a union, guild, or association, you might also be eligible for grants and awards to cover your expenses.
First Nation Band Members may find support from their community, as might Canadians with ties to ethnic associations, cultural centres, and places of worship.

Encouraged by the business theatre attracts, communities with a vested interest in the arts are more likely to attend cultural events as paying customers when they are at home and on vacation. A bigger audience gives more artists and professionals in the arts sector a bigger space to create more art.
